Rosh Chodesh in October should happen on October 6th if you go by the sliver of the moon being sited.

  • Therefore Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah starts October 6th evening and marks the first of Tishri.
  • Rosh Hashanah will be celebrated sundown to sundown October 6th - October 8th 
  • October 16th starts Yom Kippur Tishri 10
  • Fast for Yom Kippur Starts October 15th evening - Tishri 9
  • Stop Fast Yom Kippur Wednesday October 16th evening - Tishri 10
  • All who can, will gather October 16th to BREAK THE FAST in the evening
  • Tishri 14 Starts the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot.  This is October Sunday October 20th.
  • October 20, 2013 Gather for FIRST day of Sukkot after Monte Judah destination to be announced
  • Sukkot is celebrated 8 days until October 28th.  
  • October 26th-27th Camping; destination to be announced
