Today, Avi continues his studies in the Hebrew Torah, Prophets and Writings while pursuing advanced studies in the teachings of the scripturalist preacher and Messianic reformer Yeshua ben Yosef. Avi does not accept any teaching that requires submission to rabbinic oral law nor does he believe there is any authority in what is commonly called the Mitzvot d’Rabanan- the commandments of the rabbis, which consists of many legal works and traditions that are considered binding on religious Jews everywhere.

RICO CORTES
September 18th and 19th in Phoenix area.

We are excited welcome Rico Cortes back to Phoenix.  When he last visited there was a strong leading from the Ruach HaKodesh to bring Hebrew Roots into the Hispanic community here locally in a larger way.  Since that time we have been praying diligently and asking other like minded believers to join with us in praying for them.  We had some really wonderful things happen just after Bill Cloud which I can't really detail but it does seem that Abba Father is enjoining with us in this process.  That's when we know what we do is of Him, when things start falling into place.  When we get closer to the RICO CORTES conference all details will be shared with you.

Rabbi Shapira will teach during Shavuot and is hoping for a great move of G-D during this event. In addition he will conduct positive and friendly Q&A session with David Pavlik and Rico Cortes as they try to tackle some of the complex challenges and questions within the Messianic Faith.All the parties have agreed to take part of this event to promote building the Kingdom of G-D and the awesome name of Yeshua . If you are looking to be restored (Jew or Gentile alike) to the household of Israel, this weekend will be a great start.

James and I know Itzhak Shapira and Rico Cortes and realizes that these brothers are working to become a true example or Echad with the Hebrew Roots/Messianic Judaism move on this earth.  Why?  Because they understand Yeshua has important work to do here before His returning.  I will email out to everyone information on LIVESTREAM for this event when I have it.  However, if you know anyone living in the Florida area I would send them the link above and encourage them to go.  I believe this is the type of event which can mark a change in our working together with brothers and sisters in the Lord.  Oh I so wish we could go!!!

Only 46 days left!  We are so excited to be joining the saints in Dallas Texas for this event.  If any details become known to me about LIVESTREAM I will let you know.  There is a sister that would like to go if she can find a roommate and a rideshare.  If any one is searching for saints to share the ride and the hotel please email me back and I will share the info with those who contact me.
