No Matter What?

Picture
The Lord gave me revelation that man often stands his ground on "No matter what!"  When it comes to our Christian walk believers often err on the side of "No matter what!"  Believing their righteousness outweighs the situation.  We stand upon our concepts derived from authoritative speaking or writings of others, personal relationships and experiences.

Because we have such a high regard for God we assume He must have a high regard for us.  What we fail to understand is that God regards only what is God's  In other words, God has a kingdom already established in which we are welcome partakers.  However, we often set up our own kingdom on the condition of "No Matter What!"

This attitude not only puts us at odds with God but set us up to be cast out!  The enemy is clever to try his best to convince us that this is not the case.  Falsely leading us to presume, "but that doesn't apply to me, or at least not in this situation".  At this point, when we choose to believe the lies of the enemy we have lost our usefulness to God.

Hopefully, persons who have spiritual discernment will recognize the spiritual unrest as a separation from God's will.  If the individual believer can respond in humility, faithfulness, and love, he will search his heart and beg forgiveness.  God has the ability to not only forgive but repair.  In this example, forgiveness is for our spiritual well-being, whereas, repair is for our outward transformation. We must ask for, and accept forgiveness, which most view as a welcome because we easily understand the benefit of forgiveness.  However, do we accept repair?

Repair means to be made new, NOT look to the old, but become changed.  To the world the "repair" may not be recognizable for many years even.  But if WE recognize the repair we will praise God for the repair!

From this day forward the statement is no longer, "No matter what!"  But it becomes "No matter what?"  The exclamation point is a willful defiance, even in the face of God...However, the question mark is humility at all times because we are before the face of God while he asks us, "No matter what?"

I think most of us are very surprised to understand that the stance of no matter what, is actually God's position in the universe and not our own.  How precious we become when we uphold what is God's rather than what is self.  I praise God for revealing to me this simple statement that cuts through His word to me like a two edge sword.  Lord I look to you....no matter what.  I will listen for His response to my every thought as I weigh in on His questioning me, "No matter what?"
